OCTOBER 2014 Updates

Chainfree Bristol Releases Chained     Dogs # 60 - 65!

Nine Year Old, Ginger, Now Chain Free!

Ginger was an inside dog until her owner became    seriously ill. A relative took her in and placed her on a chain. Ginger is a sassy   boxer with a new fenced  enclosure provided and    installed by Chainfree Bristol Volunteers.  Now Ginger is Chainfree Bristol dog number 60!

Skylar, Duke and Puppy Ginger now Chain Free!

Skylar, a 13 month old Pit, became pregnant while chained. Also while chained and living in the “circle of dirt”,  she gave birth to eleven puppies!

Father dog, Duke, is a 14 month old German Shepard. Also chained full time.

All of the puppies were given away except for puppy Ginger

who is now about 5 months old.  All three dogs were chained   until the volunteers of Chainfree Bristol became involved and built  a large back yard enclosure for this doggy family.  This makes 65 dogs that are now living chain free because of CFB   volunteers and donors!

A new Chance for “Chance”!

Chance lived on a permanent tether for all of his six years  of life…  until Chainfree  Bristol found him. An American Pit, Chance was   neutered compliments of the Animal Defense League and isnow chain free because of Chainfree Bristol Volunteers!

Precious is now Chainfree Bristol Dog Number 62!

A black Pomeranian mix, Precious, is a 3 year old, lifetime chained dog. The chain often became tangled not allowing Precious access to food, water or shelter. Thanks to the Animal Defense League who paid for her spay surgery, Precious was able to qualify for free fenced yard space provided by Chainfee Bristol.

Now Precious is chain free… and smilin’!
