PEPPER IS CHAIN FREE!

Pepper, an 8 1/2 year old Jack Russell, living on a chain in the backyard of the pet owner... at the farthest point from the house.  An existing fence was falling down and the gates needed adjusting.

Chainfree Bristol replaced a section of fencing and adjusted the gates so Pepper would be secure.Pictured here...Pepper is seen happily rolling around in the grass… CHAIN FREE!

Contact your City Council persons today and express your interest in strengthening Bristol dog care ordinances including a  ban on the LIFETIME, UNATTENDED chaining of dogs!

MARCUS IS CHAINFREE TOO!!!

Chainfree Bristol was contacted by a concerned citizen who reported that Marcus was chained and living in dirt. Only 2 years old, this Black Lab/Husky mix was an unaltered male. Chainfree Bristol directed the pet owner to contact the Animal Defense League who have a free altering program for large dogs.

Chainfree Bristol built a new fenced enclosure, and provided new food and water bowls for Marcus… now he is unrestrained and chain free!

Join CHAINFREE BRISTOL!

Chainfree Bristol is dedicated to banning the lifetime, unattended chaining or tethering of dogs. Our goals include education and ordinance development.  Building fences demonstrates an acceptable alternative to chaining or tethering a dog.

Here’s How You Can Help:                                   1. Contribute time and work.  Volunteer to help build fences for folks who would let their dog off the chain if they had an appropriately fenced area in their yard. Materials and direction to be furnished by Chainfree Bristol.

2. Contribute money.   Chainfree Bristol is a non profit organization Chartered by the State of  TN with a 501-C-3 tax exempt status!

3. Contribute beverage cans (aluminum) or printer cartridges! These are recycled with earnings contributed directly to Chainfree Bristol!

Please support us in this grassroots effort, by sending your tax deductible contributions to Chainfree Bristol.   P. O. Box 681 Bristol, TN 37621 or go to chainfreebristol.org   100% of contributions fund fencing materials to release chained or tethered dogs.
